More than once during a shelling adventure, we were told by other shelling enthusiasts about the natural treasures that can be found on Marco Island. After the third or fourth recommendation, we decided to see for ourselves and planned a trip to Tigertail Beach.
We were able to find a vast array of beautiful shells such as worm shells, calico scallops, lightning whelks, moon snails, olive shells, fighting conchs, and horse conchs, just to name a few!
